France with Monaco – Something for Everybody

France is about world-class art and architecture. It seduces with iconic landmarks known the world over and rising stars yet to be discovered. France is, after all, the world’s top tourism destination with some 89 million visitors each year who flock to the land of the Gauls to feast on its extraordinary wealth of museums, galleries, ateliers (artist workshops) and hands-on cultural experiences.

Squeezed into just 200 hectares, Monaco might be the world’s second-smallest country, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in attitude. A magnet for high-rollers and hedonists since the early 20th century, it’s also renowned as one of the world’s most notorious tax havens and home to the annual Formula One Grand Prix. Formula One’s most iconic event spans four days in late May, when Monaco goes completely car crazy and every street in town is closed for the race. Also peeping inside Monte Carlo’s legendary marble-and-gold casino is a Monaco essential.
